NOC Technician
Anonymizer is an Abraxas Corporation Company and is the leader in online identity protection and privacy. We are seeking several NOC Technicians to support our 24/7/365 environment.
The Anonymizer Network Operation Center (NOC) Technician is responsible for the 24/7/365 monitoring of the Anonymizer network. The NOC Technician will be the primary response and point of contact for all customers with the intent of resolving greater than 85% of the issues. The NOC Technician will have the authority to escalate cases outside of their expertise to additional groups within Anonymizer when necessary and follow through to a timely resolution. The position will be expected to interact heavily with various customers using phone, chat or email to promptly resolve issues.
Responsibilities include ›
- Serve as primary responder for all server outages and customer complaints, monitoring the progress of events and supplying the client or vendor with updates
- Monitor all global Anonymizer servers, applications, network devices and connections along with customer traffic using specific custom built tools
- Work with the systems and network administration teams to resolve complex issues within specific service level agreement times
- Work directly with Anonymizer customers to resolve technical issues and questions
- Perform basic systems troubleshooting and management, coordinate with appropriate Anonymizer teams when necessary
- Provide thorough research of customer-facing issues and provide report to escalation teams prior to escalation
- Update customers and other stakeholders regularly on ongoing trouble tickets and provide full report of outages and/or defects

Qualifications include ›

- Thorough understanding and experience maintaining, managing and monitoring servers running Linux OS required
- Working knowledge of network troubleshooting, traceroutes, pings, etc. required

- Ability to quickly and efficiently address customer needs by providing solutions to customer issues or escalating to another support group when necessary

Senior Lead Quality Assurance Tester

This position requires continuous involvement and participation with engineering teams to design, build, and test software products and underlying components. Review, verify and validate requirement, designs, and functionality of software. Develops, executes and maintains test plans. Creates automated test scripts and contributes to the automation library. Coordinates and tracks test activities. May work on multiple projects at a time.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of engineering activities related to planning, implementing, and managing enterprise wide VDI deployments. Duties include design, development, support and training support staff.
