The Anonymizer network is undergoing maintenance September 2, 2010 starting at 2am PST. This may cause temporary disruptions in the connections to our servers during the maintenance. The updates will be taking place over the course of the day. An updated notice will be posted once the maintenance is complete. If your Anonymizer service is disconnected or you experience an issue on our website please try again later. If your error persists send an email to Support using the Email Us button.
UPDATE: (September 2, 2010, 11:00 am PST) Our maintenance is now complete and our systems are up. If you continue to have connection issues, please reboot your computer.
A new update for Anonymizer Universal for Windows was released yesterday. This update enhances the ability of the software to detect network changes and quickly reconnect when a user briefly loses their Internet connection. It also fixes an issue that caused the software to crash in certain specific circumstances. Click on Preferences and Check Now to download and install the update.
To assist you with compatibility problems you may be experiencing with commonly used Firewall protection, we have compiled a set of guides that will help you reconfigure your system so that they will no longer be an issue when using Anonymizer Universal. Please choose from the list below:

A new update for Anonymizer Universal for Windows was released today. This update resolves a Windows dialer issue and enhances the error logging abilities of the software, among other technical streamlining. Click on Preferences and Check Now to download and install the update.
Our first update for Anonymizer Universal for Windows was released today. This update resolves a Windows DNS caching issue that was that was causing connection failures for some users, as well as, enables the correct detection of Air cards. Click on Preferences and Check Now to download and install the update. Beta testers please log in as a direct link is needed to install the update.
Anonymizer announces the launch of our new service, Anonymizer Universal. Anonymizer Universal is our most powerful and secure anonymity service to date. It is Universal because it is available for use on Windows, Mac and the iPhone. Current Anonymizer customers will receive Anonymizer Universal through the end of their subscription to Anonymous Surfing or Total Net Shield. Log in at My Account Login for details.
It is unique from any previously offered Anonymizer service because it is a full Virtual Private Network.
It is available for use as a VPN on the iPhone, Mac Leopard and Snow Leopard and Windows XP, Vista, and 7.
It is compatible with all current browsers.
Anonymizer Universal provides the same anonymity of Total Net Shield and Anonymous Surfing by changing your IP address to a US IP address that is rotated every 24 hours.
Anonymizer Universal is a subscription-based downloaded application that is installed on your personal computer. It will secure and anonymize the computer (or iPhone) that has the software installed.
Nyms customers will now be accessing Nyms through our Web site, www.nyms.net. Web-based Nyms offers functionalities not previously available in the application.
It is accessible from any browser on any computer at any time and does not require software to be installed or running.
